I have been a resident of Arizona and
Maricopa County since 1993. I have lived in the west valley for the
majority of that time, except for a 3 year period in North Phoenix.
Prior to coming to Arizona I served 9 years in the Navy as an
air-crewman and electronics instructor. After my discharge from the Navy
I worked as a Field Engineer for a major corporation providing
technical assistance to the U. S. Navy for 14 years. Since coming to
Arizona I was employed as a computer technician for a local computer
manufacturer primarily responsible for quality assurance in the
production department. Since retiring 2 years ago I have become active
in the Maricopa County Libertarian Party and The Arizona Libertarian
Party. I have been a member of the Libertarian Party since 2000.
I
started developing an interest in local government after attending the
Glendale Home Owners Association Academy. I followed that by attending
Glendale University 101 as well a several graduate courses. I also
completed the Glendale Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) course. I
served a 2 years term on the Glendale Board of Adjustment from 2007 -
2009.
I am fiscally conservative and favor small government. The
fewer laws the better. A local congressman made a comment recently
during an interview that because of the number of laws currently on the
books at all levels of government it is virtually impossible for any
citizen to be fully in compliance with all statutes.
